After Erin’s Law was passed in 2011 Victor Pacini developed a child safety program to inform kids about the law without using “scary” language, children in the program will never hear the term sexual assault, instead, safe touching and unsafe touching are used for better understanding at the elementary school level.
“It’s my sole purpose to help children create that confident voice, value that voice, and share that voice with the world. My unique ability is to take difficult topics and teach children to understand them in a delicate, appropriate, and fun manner. My goal is to bring you peace of mind knowing your children are learning “Erin’s Law” appropriately,” says Pacini.
Pacini is one of the most sought-after speakers and trainers on the topics of sexual abuse (Erin’s Law) for children. He understands the delicate nature of abuse. Not only is he a survivor of sexual abuse, but his sister was murdered in 2001 due to domestic violence. His dynamic Erin’s Law curriculum has been delivered to over 750,000 children and parents. He’s been referred by school administrators as, “The most unique and effective presenter of sexual assault awareness.”
Pacini is the author of Winning Within, There’s Only One You, Be Seen and Heard (Erin’s Law Content), Your VOICE, My Dreams, and has recorded two music CD’s.
Victor is respectfully known for designing engaging and entertaining presentations and products on the topics of confidence building, character building, goal setting, anti-bullying, and child abuse training. The goal of his presentation is to help children and parents increase their knowledge and awareness of sexual abuse and domestic violence. He does this by delivering it from a fresh and positive perspective. This perspective skyrockets self-confidence and increases the parent-child connection without being disingenuous and insensitive.
Some of his audiences have included the Illinois PTA, Cebrin Goodman Teen Institute, Kansas PTA, Indiana PTA, National PTA, Abbott Labs, WINGS (Domestic Violence Agency), and schools all over the country.
Erin’s Law is named after childhood sexual assault survivor, author, speaker, and activist Erin Merryn, who is the founder and President of Erin’s Law, which is registered with the State of Illinois and the IRS as a 501 (c)(4) non-profit social welfare organization. After Erin introduced the legislation in her home state of Illinois, the bill was named “Erin’s Law” after her by legislators and it has caught on nationwide. “Erin’s Law” requires that all public schools in each state implement a prevention-oriented child sexual abuse program which teaches, students in grades preK – 12th grade, age-appropriate techniques to recognize child sexual abuse and tell a trusted adult School personnel all about child sexual abuse Parents & guardians the warning signs of child sexual abuse, plus needed assistance, referral or resource information to support sexually abused children and their families
